About the Qatar Real Estate Forum

The Qatar Real Estate Forum returns this year as the Qatar Real Estate Forum and Cityscape 2024. Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the event is hosted by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) in collaboration with Informa Tharawat, Cityscape organisers.

The forum aims to foster growth, innovation and strategic collaborations within Qatar’s real estate sector, capitalising on the country’s robust economic landscape and its growing influence in regional and global markets.

The event gathers representatives from government, semi-government and private entities while providing a unique platform for potential investors and industry professionals to explore opportunities within Qatar’s thriving market.

This year’s agenda focuses on enhancing transparency, accelerating digital transformation and aligning with global best practices to bolster investor trust and streamline transactions. With a strong emphasis on sustainable development and digital integration, the forum is poised to attract a diverse audience to discuss challenges facing the real estate sector, share insights  on market trends and emerging innovations, as well as forge partnerships that shape the future of real estate in Qatar and beyond.

Strong economic fundamentals

Qatar has a strong and stable economy with high levels of wealth and a low unemployment rate. The country's economy is primarily driven by its vast reserves of natural gas, which has helped to support a steady growth in GDP and per capita income

The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cityscape during a press conference today to launch the Qatar Real Estate Forum and Cityscape 2024. The event, which will be held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, is set to take place in Doha between 13-15 October.

Favourable business environment

Qatar has implemented policies to attract foreign investment, such as allowing full foreign ownership of businesses and offering tax incentives. The country also has a well-developed legal and regulatory framework, which provides a stable and predictable investment environment.
