Pursuant to the Emiri Decision No. (16) of 2014 on designating the competences of the ministries in the State, the Ministry of Justice shall be specialized on behalf of the State and the government entities in defending them in the cases filed by or against them inside and outside the State according to the law, supervising the practice of legal profession, recording the legal actions, documenting the instruments, issuing the Official Gazette, reviewing drafts of the contracts and agreements concluded by the ministries and other government entities according to the law, training the legal incumbents in the government entities and incumbents of the judicial posts and the Public Prosecution to develop their capacity and practical skills, and disseminating and developing the legal awareness.
